The Africa Agri Forum will be held on April 5 & 6 in Yaoundé – Cameroon

In order to support the dynamics and development of a strong and efficient agricultural sector in French-speaking Africa, i-conferences is organizing the seventh edition of the Africa Agri Forum on April 5 and 6 at the Hilton Yaoundé. This Forum is organized under the High Patronage of HE the Prime Minister, Head of Government of Cameroon Mr. Joseph Dion Ngute and in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Cameroon. This edition is also organized in partnership with OCP Africa and with the support of the African Union. Building on the success of its previous editions in Abidjan and Libreville and in order to demonstrate its regional vocation and its interest in supporting the ambitions of the countries of Central Africa, the Africa Agri Forum 2021 has chosen Yaoundé as a destination to offer to Cameroon a B to B platform which will put its capital at the heart of debates aimed at developing this highly strategic sector for the region. “Africa Agri Forum is a great opportunity in Central Africa to organize this kind of exchange of experiences, information… Today the challenge is to mobilize and sensitize even more people, all stakeholders especially in the region, both at the ministerial level and at the level of technicians, experts from the region to discuss and define the strategic axes for the transformation of agriculture in our continent ”, declared HE Josefa Sacko, AUC Commissioner in charge of the economy and agriculture, during AAF 2019. This forum will be an opportunity for experts from the agricultural and agro-industrial sectors to better understand the agricultural development models, the paths towards sustainable and resilient agriculture, the evolving role of FOs, agricultural value chains, sector development, innovation and technologies as well as the impact of covid-19 on the agricultural sector and food security. MOROCCO IN THE HONOR Morocco will be the guest of honor of the 2021 edition and will see the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests of the Kingdom of Morocco in the works of this edition, in order to strengthen cooperation between agricultural actors in Central Africa and Morocco and share the experience and vision of the Moroccan government to develop the sector through the Green Morocco Plan. A HYBRID FORUM Africa Agri Forum will take on a new dimension and a major turning point in its desire to strengthen dialogue and exchange between African agricultural actors, while broadening its footprint. This is how the event will be held in a hybrid format, face-to-face for a maximum capacity of 200 participants and virtual retransmission giving the opportunity to thousands of participants around the world to actively participate in this edition and interact with African actors. AN INNOVATIVE ORGANIZATION AAF Hybride 2021 therefore provides an innovative and secure organization to allow our ecosystem to meet once again, to discuss and continue to network in a secure environment respecting the health restrictions recommended by the WHO.
