In a statement to the MAP on the sidelines of partisan activities in Chefchaouen and Tetouan, Mr. Lachgar stressed that the USFP will maintain its position among the influential political parties on the national political scene, noting that “the party will strive to develop this scene, to help promote democratic life and to work for the strengthening of elected bodies ”.- Mr. Lachgar, in this regard, called on voters in Morocco in general, and in Tetouan in particular, to think carefully before inserting their ballots in the ballot box on September 8, stopping on “the challenges that Morocco must meet in the various vital areas”. In Chefchaouen, Mr. Lachgar underlined that the party presented young candidates to the municipal elections, in order to ensure an effective contribution to the management of the local thing and to devote the proximity to the citizens, to settle the questions of public order. , noting that this choice emanates from the desire to inject new blood into elected councils. He noted that the region needs major projects, especially in the tourism sector, able to strengthen the influence of the province, create employment opportunities and support local development. Mr. Lachgar chaired the support committee for USFP candidates for the September 8 ballot in Chefchaouen and Tetouan. The members of the committee participated in a series of activities as part of the electoral campaign, which took place in strict compliance with preventive measures against the coronavirus.
