It emerges from the joint declaration that the Dominican Republic considers that the Autonomy Initiative, presented by the Kingdom of Morocco in 2007, constitutes “the realistic, credible and serious solution to achieve a result negotiated between the parties”. This virtual meeting between MM. Bourita and Alvarez follows the last meeting held between the two parties in June 2019, in Santo Domingo, and is part of a common desire to pursue a continuous political dialogue to strengthen bilateral relations and give a new impetus for cooperation in various areas of common interest.
