At the invitation of HE the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. Nasser Bourita, HE the Vice-President and Minister of External Relations of the Republic of Colombia, Marta Lucia Ramírez, paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, from October 28 to November 1, 2021. This visit was a favorable occasion to salute the excellence of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Colombia and to reaffirm the common will of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Excellency President Iván Duque Márquez, to continue to consolidate the fruitful multidimensional association which fortunately exists between the two countries, both bilaterally and multilaterally and in particular within the framework of cooperation South-South. Likewise, the two Ministers reiterated their commitment to continue to promote and strengthen political, trade, energy, economic, cultural and academic relations, exploring the opportunities offered to strengthen bilateral exchanges and taking into account complementarity and respective potentials of the two countries, particularly in terms of renewable energies, trade, infrastructure and tourism.
